Ferry Tanking PROCESS

1

PAPERWORK

Before we begin, we will need to make sure all paperwork is sorted out. We will need to have a quote approved as well as collect other information to help us calculate important data such as:

Will the overweight limit be within FAA standards?
Will you have enough fuel and reserves?
Do you need an Export CofA?

AIRCRAFT ARRIVAL

To begin the tanking process, the aircraft must be brought to our facility. It is advised to have the Ferry Pilot who is completing the long range flight deliver the airplane. This will allow them to become familiar with it prior to ocean crossing.

YOU MUST HIRE AN EXPERIENCED FERRY PILOT WHO HAS OVER WATER EXPERIENCE

TANK INSTALLATION

At this time our crew will confirm the fit the auxiliary tanks and begin tanking the aircraft. This may include construction of the fuel manifold, removal of interior plastics and seats, installing hoses, etc. With our experience and knowledge, we will make sure your aircraft is ready for to-go!

TEST FLIGHT

After the tank is installed and all paperwork is complete, the aircraft will be ready for a test flight. The test flight is required prior to final departure and must be signed off by t Ferry Pilot. This will allow the pilot to become familiar with the tanking system and to ensure all systems are performing as needed.
